Description
Medical Solution Cyanide Antidote kit. CYANOKIT is a cyanide antidote that contains hydroxocobalamin for cyanide poisoning first aid emergencies.
It is advised that if there is the possibility of human cyanide exposure secondary to a company’s activities then a cyanide antidote should be kept on-site. Treatment of cyanide poisoning is time crucial and individuals exposed to cyanide who are acutely unwell may require treatment on-site.
If companies choose to stock an antidote, or if there is a legal requirement for a company to keep an on-site emergency antidote kit, VPIC/AHCTS recommends hydroxocobalamin (Cyanokit), as it is the preferred and safest cyanide antidote
