Environmental awareness and spill kit induction

This is a basic awareness course that is popular due to concise and workshop format.

The level and depth of this training is aimed at the general employee.

This course will provide the necessary Environmental training to address your due diligence requirements.

The training is conducted on your site and with duration of 1 hour.

Topics covered include:

• Environmental Legislation
• Individual Environmental Duty of Care
• Absorbent Selection Criteria – “What’s in a spill kit?”
• Eight Steps – How to Handle a Spill. (Including PPE selection, Locating SDS’ and disposal)

Participants discover the practical use of the products contained on their site by hands-on experience with spill contents and usage.

Our Trainer:
Maria-Louise Culcasi holds a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, a Bachelor of Education and has a genuine passion for education. Her extensive work within industry over the past 20 years means that she has a breadth of understanding, knowledge and experience. Her studies also extend to Certificate IV in OHS and Environmental Management System Auditing.
