“Shocktober” is a month-long campaign to highlight the importance of knowing where Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are located and ensure that all AEDs are made publically accessible and registered through Ambulance Victoria.
October 16th is #restartaheartday. Restart a Heart Day is a global initiative to raise awareness and educate the community about CPR and AEDs in the community. You can join this live event here to increase awareness refresh your skills. Time is of the essence in the event of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Every minute that passes without intervention, the chance of survival decreases by 10%.
